Spider veins, small blood vessels located near the surface on the skin, are harmless, but unsightly. Luckily, spider veins respond well laser treatment.

Varicose veins are enlarged blood vessels close to the surface of the skin most commonly found on the legs and feet. Unlike spider veins, varicose veins are much more noticeable, can cause aching and discomfort and can even lead to more serious medical problems such as phlebitis (inflammation of the veins), skin ulcers, and blood clots.

• Cosmetic Sclerotherapy- injection of a sclerosing solution collapsing the veins. Not covered by insurance.
